I’ll bet you’ve never heard of snow biking. In fact, it’s a pretty new invention (homegrown in BC), and a local guiding company in Kelowna, Monashee Adventure Tours, is the only one in North America to offer snow biking as an activity. It’s quite a rush!

Winery Celebration this Weekend

Anyone who has been to Mission Hill Family Estate has marveled at that gorgeous sound the bells make when they peal. They are huge bronze bells that were commissioned by Mission Hill’s Proprietor, Anthony von Mandl, and at the winery each of the 4 bells represents a member of the von Mandl family.

First of all, it’s November and people are once again eyeing our museums with renewed interest as the weather turns a little cooler, and as we tend to get a little more introspective and [...]
