One of Best Western Kelowna Hotel’s favourite annual events is the Keloha Music & Arts Festival! This high-energy event is a musical oasis full of fun for the whole family. Read on to discover the top five reasons why you and your family should attend this must-see event being held July 11-13.

1. Location

Staged in the heart of downtown Kelowna at the Waterfront Park, Keloha is the perfect music festival location. A stunning promenade along the edge of the lake with large sandy beaches on either end is perfect for a stroll, a tan, or just kicking back and relaxing. With the stunning Okanagan Lake as a backdrop, Keloha is a festival unlike any other in BC.

2. Musical Lineup

Some of the biggest indie, rock, and alternative bands will be playing July 11-13 at this tropical waterfront event. From well-known bands like The Naked and Famous to up-and-coming bands like Terraplane Sun and Blondfire, there’s enough musical variety to please every member in your family. With two separate stages offering up exciting musical performances, you’ll be sure to catch all the musical offerings this event has available.

3. Art Ave

Art Ave is the ideal location for all the creative geniuses in the family. Art Ave offers fun and interactive booths for the kids, a Nannysitters tent with babysitters to keep your young ones entertained while you wander around and listen to some talented bands, a bunch of different demonstrations, lessons, craft tents, photo booths, and sand castle building.

4. After Party Series

If you’re looking for a little more after-hours fun, Keloha will also be hosting some amazing after parties at local bars and pubs near centrally located Kelowna hotels. With more than 40 musical performances scheduled at 7 different venues over 3 nights, the Keloha After Party Series is another bonus event you need to be a part of.
