This just in from the International Children’s Winter Games…2 wins for Team Kelowna in hockey this morning and one for Team Windsor. Read on to find out more!

The first result from the 5th International Children’s Winter Games is from girls hockey where host city Kelowna blanked Vancouver 5 – 0 at Memorial Arena.

The puck just dropped on game 2 featuring Strathmore, Alberta and Hamilton, Ontario. Kelowna plays again at 11:30 am vs Kamloops…Vancouver and Strathmore square off at 1:45 pm.  The day closes out with Hamilton taking on Kamloops at 4:00 pm.

Boys hockey has also brought back a win for Team Kelowna! The boys team won against Penticton, 6 – 1 at Rutland East arena this morning.

Kelowna’s next game for boys hockey is 4:00 PM at the Rutland West arena when they face Windsor, Ontario.  Penticton will take on Darmstadt, Germany at 6:15 PM at Rutland West.

Team Windsor boys hockey is represented by the Sun County Panthers, who are currently ranked third in all of Ontario and it showed in this mornings game vs Darmstadt…final score, 21 – 0 Windsor.
