Craft and Art Sale on this Weekend

If you’re like me, you’re starting to fret just a little bit about Christmas gifts. That’s why this event, happening this weekend at the Rotary Centre for the Arts, is going to be amazing! Pottery, fabric arts, crafts, jewellry, and silver and goldsmith work will be on display and for sale, with all the artists in attendance. It will be a feast for the eyes, and you’ll probably also find a little something that you just can’t bear to give away…

The artist behind the initiative is Bonnie Anderson from Potters Addict, who has her studio at the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Bonnie has become popular in Kelowna for her curvy female pottery figures and intriguing raku pottery, her colourful paintings, and her fun pottery classes. Last year I took in a class with Bonnie which made me fall in love with the pottery wheel! Check out my first-timer pottery wheel experience - and then get yourself signed up for one of her classes, because it’s so much fun!

To get inspired and motivated (and stock up on your Christmas gifts), make sure to head over to the Rotary Centre for the Arts this weekend – November 13 and 14 – and support these amazing artists. It’s all happening at the Potters and Artisans of the Okanagan Valley 20th Annual Fall Gift Show and Sale, “For the Love of Art Almighty!

Enjoy!
