Fall Fare at Kelowna’s Restaurants


I received an email from Cabana Grille’s chef James DeLong the other day, and I simply have to quote from it to show you why my mouth was watering.

James writes: “This time of year brings around so many great things to work with from our ‘Forno Roasted Squash Soup’ to our ‘Red Wine Fed Beef Short Rib’ to our house-made ‘Pumpkin Ice Cream with Warm Ginger Cake’. We make all these dishes by reaching out to our local farmers, ranchers and vintners and asking them to inspire us with the best of what they have.” Yummmm. There are bound to be some fall menu inspirations on this menu for you!

The other great thing about Cabana Grille this fall is their “Kids Eat Free” promotion: October through to May kids (age 12 and under) can dine from the children’s menu for free at Cabana every Sunday through Tuesday. For free!

And on Wednesdays for everyone else who wants enjoy a delicious fall meal at a super reasonable price, pizzas and pastas are only $9.99. One thing about Cabana Grille is that they really go to lengths to source ingredients locally. You’ll find all sorts of fall-inspired flavours on their menu, so you also get to take home ideas of what you can do with local ingredients.

You’ll find ingredients sourced from local farms and producers like Little Creek Gardens, Carmelis Goat Cheese, and Sun Catcher Farms. I see that they’re featuring Sezmu Meats for their Short Rib dish, which is bound to be delicious and intriguing! Check in for their other seasonal events, including wine promotions and live music.
