Vineyard to host Medieval Party
This Saturday, August 14, Camelot Vineyards in East Kelowna will be holding their first ever Medieval Fair from 11 am to 4 pm. The event promises to offer you can chance to relive the Middle Ages in the vineyard, and to feast on a Medieval lunch paired with Camelot’s tasty wines for just $5. A Medieval Troup will be on hand to demonstrate full contact sword fighting, archery, and Artisan tents with authentic arts and crafts.

Camelot Vineyards, shown above, will be decked out in Medieval flair this Saturday.
Camelot Vineyards is in its second year of operation this year and has been a strong addition to the winery scene in Kelowna, since it’s out-of-the-gate Chardonnay took the competition circuit by storm in 2009, winning 3 medals including an international one, a national prize, and regional medal at the Okanagan Fall Wine Festival.

Camelot invites you to its Medieval Fair!
The other lovely thing about this winery is that it is conveniently located along a great wine trail that makes for a fun day tour through some family-owned Kelowna wineries. For more on this route check out my post on the East Kelowna Wine Route.
For more on Camelot, check out this earlier post from a visit to the winery including a fun tourism video shot with owners Rob Young and Denise Brass. Be sure you check-in, in person this Saturday for their Medieval Fair! Ticket cost is just $10 for adults, and free admission for kids under 12.
