Rosey Edeh and ET Canada Visit Kelowna

Last Friday evening I felt really proud. That’s because Kelowna was being featured on ET Canada when host Rosey Edeh came to “test” Chef Michael Lyon at the Hotel Eldorado with a food challenge much like the ones he would have on his new Food Network show “Chef*Off!”. ET Canada was in fact also kind of putting Kelowna to the test, because there aren’t many cities in which you can pull off a challenge like the one Rosey put to Michael. Check out the segment here, and a BIG Thank you to ET Canada for coming to visit us! Come again soon.

PS – For those of your curious about where Chef Michael sped off to in order to get his ingredients, here’s the scoop. He went to Mission Hill Family Estate winery, across the lake from the Hotel Eldorado. He got goat cheese at Carmelis Goat Cheese Artisan, where they make 20 varieties of goat cheese (yu-mmy!) and 24 flavours of goat milk gelato. And he got his root vegetables at Sunshine Farm, which also sells at the Kelowna Farmers’ and Crafters’ Market (biggest farmers’ market in BC). So there – now you can make this delicious meal, too!
