Kelowna Restaurants Win Top Honours


Kudos to Kelowna Chefs Mark Filatow, Dominique Couton, Ned Bell, and Rod Butters whose restaurants have been singled out as the best in the Okanagan! Vancouver Magazine’s Restaurant Awards for 2010 took place recently, and for the Okanagan Restaurant Category, the Gold went to Waterfront Restaurant, Silver to Bouchons Bistro, Bronze to Cabana Grille, and Honourable Mention to RauDZ Regional Table. In the Winery Restaurant category, the top awards went to …. you guessed it …. Kelowna area wineries! Mission Hill Family Estate’s Terrace Restaurant, headed up by Chefs Matt Batey and Riley Bennett, took home the Gold. Quails’ Gate’s Old Vines Patio where Chef Roger Sleiman works his magic took home Silver. Honourable Mention went to CedarCreek Estate Winery’s Terrace Restaurant where you’ll find Chef Judith Knight cooking up a feast this summer. Check out the judges notes on these winery restaurants here.
