Kelowna's Juicy Tips

Kelowna’s Manteo Resort Waterfront Hotel & Villas has had quite a run lately. Last Fall, the gracious hotel welcomed renowned Chef Bernard Casavant into its kitchen. That was after an extensive reno of the already top-shelf hotel, and after the hotel’s staff raised a record-setting $27,142 at the annual Run For the Cure (which they fundraise for every year). Today I received a press release detailing the Manteo’s most recent great news: they’ve placed on Expedia’s Insiders’ Select List for 2010, which ranks over 100,000 hotels around the world – in 149th place.

There are only a handfull of other BC hotels on the list ahead of them. Out of a score of 100, this community-minded hotel scored 99.4 points determined by an evaluation of traveller’s opinions + value + Expedia’s experts’ assessment. In short, our friends at Manteo knocked the ball out of the park with Expedia. Three cheers for the home team!
