Scenes from the Torch Relay – Day 89
What a day! I mentioned the enormous party that welcomed the Flame to Kelowna in the last blogpost. About 20,000 people packed Kelowna’s City Park and gave it a warm Okanagan welcome! Kelowna’s Scott Frandsen was the one to light the cauldron on Monday evening to cheers from the huge audience. The Torch then overnighted in Kelowna, and made it’s way out of town on Tuesday morning.
