Kelowna Music & Arts Festival This Weekend
Kelowna is in for a treat this weekend! It’s the Kelowna Music & Arts Festival all weekend long, kicking off tonight with Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts. The festival takes place in the Cultural District, centered around the Arts Common greenspace between the Rotary Centre for the Arts and the Kelowna Art Gallery.

Tonight’s Opening Night Party is from 7 pm to 11 pm at the Rotary Centre for the Arts and the Kelowna Art Gallery. Tickets are $80 and include a weekend pass to the festival. If you’re aiming to get there on Saturday, a 2-day festival pass is $50.
The weekend promises a great line-up of musical and comedy acts, a “Crafters’ Walkway”, and an Artisan Marketplace. Artists like Colin James, Colin Linden, Stephen Fearing (from Blackie and the Rodeo Kings), Zappacosta, and Harry Manx. Comedy acts include Roman Danylo and the Arrogant Worms, and even a chainsaw juggler, Aaron Gregg. Local artists are also in the line-up, and include Kinship, The Cruzeros, and Ryan Donn.

Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, in the Cultural District. Tickets are avaialble at the gate to the festival through the RCA box office on Cawston Ave., or online at selectyourtickets.com.
