Kelowna's Juicy Tips

I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who uploaded pictures of their visits to Kelowna attractions in the last month. The pictures are outstanding, and we’ve got them all in a gallery for the world to see. Check them out!

We will be drawing the winner from this batch of entries, and announcing our winner on the show this Friday, July 31 at 5:10 p.m. during our weekly show “Juicy Tips” on 103.9 The Juice. The lucky winner will receive a Flip Video Camcorder Mino HD.

Thank you again, all you shutterbugs who took the time to send in your photos. They are all totally fantastic – from storms moving up the lake at Summerhill Pyramid Winery, to dare-devil kite surfing and cliff jumping, to a little girl, cute beyond words, with cherries in her smile. These pictures show the “real” faces of travels to our gorgeous city. People connect with them, because the shots are candid and spontaneous.

We’re continuing in this contest vein for the month of August – another chance to win a Flip Video Camcorder this month. The contest is called “Kelowna Is Picture Perfect”, and we aim to show people, through your pictures, that Kelowna is a great place to visit right now. We made headlines last week because of the fires, and we want people to know that these fires haven’t–by any stretch of the imagination–downgraded the tourism experience that people can have here.  Help us show the world that Kelowna is still the quintessential Canadian summer destination by sending in your photos taken after July 20, 2009. Anything that shows off the tourism experience in Kelowna would be perfect.
