I couldn't agree more! I spoke about this very topic today on the show www.1039thejuice.com and want to 'remind' those not just visiting Kelowna, but that actually LIVE here that attractions in Kelowna ARE unscathed by the fires. We will still stay on guard. We will be compassionate. We will help when we can. But we also need to keep smiling for the tourists, hand them a surgical mask so as not to breath in the smoke, and remind them that the wineries are still pouring, golf courses are booking tee times. Beaches are packed with sun worshipers. And when relatives call asking how bad things are here, and if they should bother booking a room, tell them to snap out of it. The Resorts, hotels, motels, and B&Bs still have lots of availability!
